Acid Washing

Acid Washing

Acid washing your pool can bring back the shine to a worn down and dirty pool.  A swimming pool acid wash is a process that strips a small layer of plaster, exposing the surface under the grime, stains, and algae that may have built up on the surface. We are the professionals when it comes to this pool service around Brisbane.

You do not have to drain the the water when acid washing your swimming pool.   In fact, in many cases acid washing does not remove pool marks and stains and can leave clients frustrated.  This is why it’s important to make sure you do not cut corners in your pool maintenance!

Acid washing is a process to remove they layer of the surface to remove the marks and deposits of calcium left on the pool. The pool is often drained and the sides thoroughly brushed. Our team then apply a layer of muriatic acid and water is applied to remove the top coat of the pool. This is done manually using an acid brush. The residue is then neutralized then one of our team rinse it.

We recommend you have your pool acid washed every 1-2 years.
